Job Description:
Main Contractor with circa £80m turnover looking for a Senior Estimator with experience in residential builds varying in value between £5m and £50m due to continued growth. As well as Residential developments we also look at shops, light commercial and Care Homes. The majority of our work currently being from Housing Associations through the open market.
Part of a bid team, taking responsibility for the pricing of all major projects, along with one other Estimator, Head of Estimating, Bid Manager, Head of New Business, Bid Writer, Contracts Managers, Logisitcal Managers, Planning Manager, Head of Construction and the CEO.
They will be working on 2 live tenders at any one time.
You should have previous experience as a Senior Estimator, in the residential area, working on projects in excess of £5m, you must be personable articulate and confident to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
You will be expected to take a tender from receipt to submission including take off's were necessary and sending out subcontract enquiries and analysing them for competitiveness.
