Senior Engineer - Rolling Stock
I am currently looking for a Senior Engineer to join a rapidly growing UK rolling stock consultancy. You will be working alongside some of the most dedicated individuals in the UK rail consultancy industry and be a key member to the development of the UK business.
The role requires the Senior Engineer to either possess or be willing to develop a wide variety of skills. These will include rolling stock engineering, maintenance optimisation, application of CSM as well as having delegated budgetary and technical responsibilities.
Key responsibilities for this Senior Engineer role:
- Responsible for the management and delivery of your own projects.
- Responsible for reporting both financially and technically to the Rolling Stock Consultancy team lead.
- Responsible for the delivery of a range of rolling stock consultancy projects to a high standard, developing and maintaining client relationships and the management of small - medium sized projects (>£100k).
- Developing proposals, undertaking account management.
- Attend meetings with clients and other stakeholders.
Experience required for this Senior Engineer role:
- Rolling stock knowledge and experience within the sector.
- Knowledge of the application of CSM.
- Good knowledge of design, modification, introduction and maintenance or operation.
- Auditing experience desirable
- Commercial acumen.
- Budget management experience.
