This is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Design Manager to join a civil engineering contractor working on a Construction framework

Key responsibilities for this Senior Design Manager role:
- Managing the design team and design portion subcontractors throughout both the tender and construction periods to deliver high quality solutions in a timely fashion.
- Producing, reviewing and updating the design programme, information release schedule, risk register and technical query schedules
- Work alongside the preconstruction and project teams to ensure design portion subcontract enquiries are robust and responses provide a value for money compliant solution
- You will report to the Regional Pre-construction Manager and will be expected to work in partnership with the Bid Manager, Project Manager and the project team. Depending on the size, nature and complexity of the project the candidate may work as part of a design management team.


Experience required for this Senior Design Manager role:
- You will ideally hold a construction based HNC (or equivalent level of technical knowledge)
- You will be an analytical problem solver, with the ability to make reasoned and informed judgements and decisions.
- You will demonstrate effective leadership, ideally with people management experience.
- Hold a valid driving licence and CSCS card.

Package offered for this Senior Design Manager role:

- £60,000-£75,000 Depending on experience
- Holidays / Bank Holidays
- Health care
