Senior Buyer - Residential Housebuilding (Rugby Area)
An established and highly regarded housebuilder is seeking a Senior Buyer to join their team in the Rugby area.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced procurement professional to take a leading role within a quality-driven developer, contributing to the successful delivery of multiple residential projects.
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 + package
Key Responsibilities:

Leading the procurement of materials and subcontract packages across multiple developments

Managing and developing key supplier and subcontractor relationships

Negotiating contracts to achieve best value and maintain commercial targets

Overseeing procurement programmes to ensure timely delivery to site

Supporting and mentoring junior members of the buying team

Working closely with Commercial, Technical, and Construction departments
Requirements:

Proven experience in a Senior Buyer or Buyer role within residential housebuilding

Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills

In-depth knowledge of materials procurement and supply chain management

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively

Leadership or mentoring experience preferred
