I have an oppurtunity to join an established mobile telecoms infrastructure provider as a Senior Build Manager.
In this role, you will be working alongside the Acquisition, Design, Build, Delivery, SHEQ & Commercial team managing the end-to-end tasks across all build activities.
This is a hybrid working role with the office based in Derby. You will be expected to attend sites every week to undertake surveys.
Responsibilities:
- Regular site visits to ensure compliance is being adhered to.
- Report writing.
- Ensuring HSEQ compliance is met on site
- Managing HSEQ issues.
- Monitor performance of contractors.
- Liaise with acquisition/design teams.
- Ensuring sites are built on time and to budget.
- Updating/reporting of systems.
- Monitor variations.
- Commercial awareness with complications on site.
- Provide supervision & training to the build team.
- Liaise with QS's on budgets & cost matters.
- Provide data for quarterly meetings.
- Provide engineering solutions to site difficulties.
- Monitor agreed KPI's
- Undertake ad-hoc visits to assess HSEQ compliance/site progress.
Requirements:
- Background in construction site management.
- 6 years proven experience constructing telecoms sites
- Commercially aware in the wireless telecoms sector.
- Working HSEQ legislation knowledge
- Degree in Civils/Building
- Full Driving Licence
