Scheme Project Manager

Job Description

We have a current opportunity for a Scheme Project Manager on a contract basis. This is to work for a Tier 1 Asset Management and Construction Consultancy driven by innovation. 

I am looking for a Scheme Project Manager to assist and work along side the Project and Senior Project Manager, for a Network Rail Commission lasting 6+ months. 

This is going to be based out of Stockport Manchester, however home hybrid wokring will be negotiated, with occasional site visitis required. 

 

Some key responsibiities will include -

  1. Assisting and working along side the PM/SPM daily 
  2. Adhering to Network Rail compliances and regulations 
  3. Typical roles cover all aspects of project management including scope, schedule, commercial, change and risk & issue management.
  4. This role would suit emerging professionals with Project Management experience, now seeking to develop their career to the next level.

 

Some key experience and qualities will include - 

  1. Client or project delivery (design or construction) Rail, Metro or Transport experience an advantage.
  2. Experience of working successfully in a multi-disciplinary team. Experience in a consultancy environment with good customer relationship and stakeholder management skills.
  3. Excellent communication skills.
  4. Expericne wokring with and to Netwrk Rail standards.

 

This role fo Scheme Project Manager is to start as soon as physically possible, with minimum term of 6 months, with the view to be extended. 

The role will fall Inside IR35.
