Quantity surveyor
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a major civil engineering contractor working on various major civil engineering project.
As we look to increase our efficiency whilst outperforming against project and customer expectations, it is essential we plan in the most innovative, robust and accurate fashion. With this in mind, we are looking for a number of Quantity Surveyors with some experience, who are keen to progress, to join the team.
Key responsibilities for this Quantity Surveyor role:
- Cost planning and estimation across the lifecycle of your projects
- Produce Analysis and Benchmarking Reports that promote value for money, and identify & define trends and cost drivers
- Collect data, analyse and define the needs of our project
- Produce Analysis and Benchmarking Reports that promote value for money, and identify & define trends and cost drivers
- Ensure the commercial obligations under the contract agreements are administered in accordance with the contract.
Experience required for this Quantity Surveyor role:
- Industry applicable Qualification in Quantity Surveying
- Demonstratable management of change control / variations
- Extensive experience in managing costs in high value projects.
- Your ability to communicate complex information to a wide range of audiences whilst working in a pressurised situations to tight deadlines will be crucial.
Package offered for this Quantity Surveyor role
- £40,000 - £50,000 Depending on experience
- Car or Car Allowance
