Quality Inspector – Contract role
I am currently on the lookout for a Quality Inspector for a role in Belgium. I am acting on behalf of a well-established and respected business who are operating heavily in the European Mission Critical space.
This is an opportunity to join a company who has projects commencing throughout the globe with exponential growth in their European division.
Key responsibilities of this Quality Inspector role:
- Management, implementation and maintenance of ISO9000/2000 & to ISO 14001
- Develop quality plans, manuals, documents and systems
- Work with our Client to ensure that their Quality standards & procedures are successfully submitted, approved & implemented against agreed timelines
- Completion of Audits
- Advise Management on QA issues
- Ensure that all documentation and certification is complete and checked prior to final handover
- Attend and co-ordinate weekly meetings with the client, subcontractors & suppliers
- Documents Control - Reviewing and revising documentation to incorporate changes to company policies and objectives, in order to stay in line with ISO 9000/2000.
- Reporting to Project Manager
- Arranging and attending site installation inspections
- Continuous quality inspections of the works as they progress
- Arranging and attending benchmarking inspections
- Keeping “Right First Time” records / procedures up to date
- Handover of systems / areas to client’s team
- Ensuring that the current QA/QC procedures used on projects are standardised and integrated into the Company QA/QC Manual.
Key essential criteria for this Quality Inspector role:
- A relevant Third Level or Professional Qualification with a Mechanical bias
- 3+ years experience with the Quality walk down process on site
- 3+ years experience in Quality/ QA Inspections on large scale construction sites
- Working knowledge of doing inspections and forms per approved site Inspections and test Plans
- Ability to work well under pressure and within strict deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
- Good organisational and planning skills
- Excellent work and personal ethics that include trustworthiness, commitment, and empathy
- Confident, creative, and energetic approach to addressing all quality-related issues
- Ability to produce quality written reports
- Proficient in the use of MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint
Benefits of this Quality Inspector role:
- 90 – 110 Euros per hour all in
- 12 Month initial Contract with potential follow-on work across Europe
