Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Reading
Salary: £65,000- £75,000 – generous company benefits on offer
A fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager has arisen within a highly reputable tier one contractor looking to expand their permanent team in the Reading area.
The right candidate is required to join the team on site in Reading due to their growing capability. You will be required to work from site with this role.
Key responsibilities for this Project Manager role:
- Leading the operational management and delivery of projects with a focus on civils and architectural fit out
- Building relationships with key stakeholders (Client, Contractors, Construction Manager functions) and maintaining regular communication
- Leading key civils and architectural packages of site work
- Ensuring nuclear safety and quality requirements are to the highest standard
- Closing out and handing over completed work packages to commissioning
- Performing against a tight schedule and budget through effective management of deliverables, quality requirements, risk and opportunity management
- Creating an inclusive environment, leading and motivating others to achieve and deliver successful project outcomes
- Managing and supporting others in implementation and application of project controls and commercial management (NEC3 & 4)
- Ensure that key deliverables within each stage of the project are being achieved, to the highest standard on a consistent basis, safely and with due regard to nuclear safety requirements
Experience required for this Project Manager role:
- Experience in delivering complex Civil projects nearing completion essential
- Experience in delivering large scale projects
- Preferably 5yrs experience of working in a highly regulated environmental
- Experience in leading multi contractor and multi-disciplined teams to deliver a common goal is desirable
- Demonstrable stakeholder management skills
- The ability to thrive in pressure situations is essential
Package offered:
£65,000- £75,000 (Depending on experience)
Car Allowance £5,920 per year
Pension contribution of between 4-10% match pension
