Project Manager

Job Description

The Project Manager will be managing a variety of construction and fit-out projects for clients and taking responsibility for the delivery of the project(s) on time, within budget and to the satisfaction of the client and all stakeholders.

The company are market leaders in the Project Manager consultancy sector and your role as Project Manager will deliver excellence in project management services based on experience and technical knowledge with a growing ability to develop others and will be responsible for monitoring the day-to-day activities in the field, managing, and coordinating the flow of information and reporting and tracking issues arising from progress, quality, and safety. The successful candidate will be client facing with proven communication and organisational skills.

Key responsibilities for this Project Manager role:

  • Develop scope of work, priorities & KPI
  • Develop meeting schedule, chair and minute key meetings as required.
  • Agree Planning Strategy and ensure Design Team adhere to same
  • Design and implementation of reporting structure to client and internal requirements
  • Comment on the design brief if/as required & support the comms, verification, and control of scope

Experience required for this Project Manager role:

  • Hold a relevant third level qualification preferably in Engineering or related Project management discipline.
  • Have experience project managing on a variety of projects
  • Knowledge and experience of project management, change management, risk management and strategic planning methodologies and construction delivery best practice.
  • Proven ability to successfully implement and execute projects and driving performance. Knowledge and experience of mobilising and managing the supply chain, including design, planning and construction services.
  • Proactive, good verbal and written communicator

Package offered for this Project Manager role:

  • €80k-85k
  • Bonus paid in two half yearly instaments
