Company Information:
My client is a top civil engineering contractor who have won many awards and worked on some very high profile projects around the UK and are currently working on a major highways project in the south west. They are seeking a project manager from civil engineering background.

To be suitable for the position you must have;
- Experience as a project manager/site agent.
- Experience in Civil Engineering projects.
- Experience of Highways, Drainage, surfacing & roads.

Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you have;
- Degree / HND /HNC in civil engineering.
- 3 or more years experience of being number 1 on site responsibility for delivery of civils packages.
- Good IT Skills.

Role Information;
- Great opportunity to join a growing main contractor who are working on a large prestigious project in the south east.
- You will be office/site based and have responsibility for delivery of civils packages.
- This role will be based in Chelmsford.
- You should have ideally have experience of and a track record of delivery of civils packages such as highways, drainage, bridges & surfacing.
- Good salary and package on offer
- You will: you will be a key member of the site based team. You will be number 1 on site, produce RAMS, interact with the client, and be responsible for cost control and ordering of plant and materials. You should also be able to read / understand drawings, and be responsible for site safety.
