Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Ashford, Kent
Salary / Benefits: £50,000

Company Information:

My Client are a major supplier to the rail industry delivering a wide range of multi-disciplinary services across the infrastructure, specialising in
- Track Renewal and Maintenance Services, Planned and Reactive Maintenance
- Facilities Management, Support Services and Training
- Design, Construction & Building Works

Main Responsibilities
-Maintain regular contact with client project managers, understanding client's requirements and implementing any necessary arrangements for delivery.
-Attend client planning and review meetings as required.
-Take responsibility for quality of all CDM paperwork produced across the project team.
-Within the team, undertake regular reviews of all planned works, undertaking a full readiness review of all aspects of the job and address any Issues that arise.
-Ensure both the Preplanning and Delivery aspects of all project works are completed to a high standard, which is fully complaint and within a safe and professional manner.
-All projects are delivered efficiently, maximising profitability where possible.
-Maintain strong connections with HSQE operations staff invite new initiatives in to the delivery of planned works.
-Manage a strong relationship with the depot Storemen, ensuring effective running of stores and all processes and policies are being adhered too.
-Ensure all vehicles are driven and maintained to the Policy ensuring the Stores undertake regular checks and any damage is recorded and reported.
-Actively engage in problem solving in connection with Project works and Depot Stores
-Maintain good relations with Clients and their representatives at all times.
-Any other duties as requested by line manager

-Comply with the company's HSQE policies and all other company policies applicable to the effective discharge of your role
-Be familiar with all safety requirements relevant to your post
-Lead in the effective communication & implementation of safety related initiatives that apply to the works under your control
-Attend client and company safety meetings/briefings as required, ensuring full attendance from your team (s) where you have responsibility to do so
-Comply with fatigue management guidelines
-Ensure resource requirements are rostered on the planning portal
-Ensure planning sheets and resourcing is correct as per clients requirements
-Any other duties as requested by line manager
The Ideal Candidate
- PTS
- Experience in project management
- Have Pway, Civils and Electrification experience.
- Good organisational skills
- Understanding business contract requirements
- Ability to maintain a professional image at all times when representing the company
- Strong team player
