Job Title: Project Engineer (x2)
Location: Scotland - can be based Glasgow / Aberdeen
Salary: £30,000 - £55,000 DOE - will consider all levels

A fantastic Project Engineer opportunity has arisen with a Tier 1 Engineering Contractor, operating across Ireland, UK & Northern Europe in the power transmission & distribution, data centres and pharmaceuticals sectors. Role Purpose of the Project Engineer:
As a Project Engineer, you will join a well-established Transmission & Distribution team, planning, managing and safely delivering design and engineering activities and supporting the Project team.
- Provide a link between Project Management and Engineering
- Take day-to-day engineering decisions on behalf of the Project Manager & provide guidance.
- Produce and maintain project and product requirements, ensuring outcomes are consistent.
- Coordinate engineering disciplines (e.g. Primary, Civils, Protection and Electrical).
- Be customer and supplier facing & focused.
Requirements of the Project Engineer:
- Substation experience & understanding of substation design.
- Relevant engineering & technology background.
- Good knowledge of engineering processes and methodology.
- Good at writing technical documentation.
- Open to travelling across sites in Scotland.
