Project Coordinator

Job Description

This is a great opportunity for a Project Coordinator with 1-3 years of experience to be a part of a well-known general contractor in the GTA. You will be a part of an organization that specializes in commercial construction projects and you will be given the independence to contribute to the project and not be micromanaged.

Our client is looking for an eager Project Coordinator to join their team, on a permanent basis and make an immediate impact and contribute to their commercial projects.

Key responsibilities of this Project Coordinator role:

  • Review drawings, research contractors and compose bid list, confer with PM
  • Request IFC drawings and updated specifications from the client, their representative, or consultants
  • Assist with all facets of project closeout, including archiving documents, maintenance and warranty manuals, deficiencies, warranty work, warranty letters, as-built drawings, Form 6, closed permits etc.,

Experience required for this Project Coordinator role:

  • 1+ years experience working in commercial construction
  • Knowledge of all aspects of construction specifically including submittal, RFIs, Change Events, and closeout.
  • Computer literate, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project

The package offered to this Project Coordinator includes:

  • Base salary of $60,000 - $80,000 (Depending on the experience of the chosen candidate)
  • Health and Dental Benefits Package
  • Paid mileage for site visits
