Job Title: Principal Mechanical Engineer
Location: Hybrid working - office based in Warrington
Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 DOE plus excellent package

A fantastic Principal Mechanical Engineer opportunity has arisen with an Engineering Consultancy, operating within highly regulated sectors including Pharmaceutical, Nuclear, Petrochemical & Water. The successful Principal Mechanical Engineer will support them in their journey of delivering innovative, sustainable and cost-effective clean energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Principal Mechanical Engineer, you will work collaboratively, reporting in to the Group Design Manager and will be responsible for leading the Mechanical piping engineering and Design team.
- Undertake audits & surveys of client existing assets
- Act in a consultant & advisory capacity to identify solutions meeting client technical, cost & schedule needs
- Manage Design subcontracts
Requirements:
- Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership
- Degree in Technical Engineering related subject
- Strong experience in complex highly regulated construction projects
- Experience in application of standard pipework design codes & understanding of stress calculations
