Job Description

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to join a major contractor in the Renewable Energy Sector 

As Operations Manager will be responsible for looking after the interest of the company at all times, ensuring full compliance to company policies.

Key responsibilities for this Operations Manager role:

  • Initiate, maintain, grow, trusting relationships with new and existing clients
  • Attend Framework meetings / support initiatives
  • Understand client objectives and aims
  • Maintain excellent contact with clients before, during and post contract
  • Contribute to bid strategy on future work and tender opportunities
  • Produce monthly reportage to the board and present performance of the delivery team
  • Work with commercial teams and colleagues to assist in ensuring commercial reporting to board is produced on time and has production team input
  • Look for innovative solutions to maximise opportunities within bids and business improvement
  • Contribute to bid management and pipeline
  • Attend Interviews and clarification meetings throughout bid process’s
  • Ensure an achievable programme and preliminary budgets are produced for bid and contribute to quality submissions
  • Regular communication with Client and Professional parties
  • Control consultants during bid and live works
  • Lead all involved in the production team and encourage a team working environment with mutual respect and a willingness for all to help each other to succeed
  • Full responsibility of the liaison team
  • Embrace the liaison team and the important role they play in the successful delivery of our works
  • Be responsible for the CSR activities in the framework and ensure we deliver our commitments

Experience required for this Operations Manager role:

  • Experience of Commercial Solar PV installations
  • Knowledge of Commercial Solar PV products
