Salary / Benefits
£43,000 - £48,000 plus package including:

Company Information

Working with one of the UK's largest infrastructure contractors as part of their Major Projects team as an Offshore Section Engineer based in Avonmouth, supporting in the delivery of marine and coastal Offshore Operations for a high profile tunnelling and marine programme

Seeing candidates with the following:

- Experience in Marine and/or coastal construction projects
- Relevant Engineering Degree
- You also ideally will have the following qualities or experience:
- Understands Permit System and LOTO procedures.
- Ability to identify potential hazards and be proactive in implementing actions and controls.
- Managing and controlling a scope of work with responsibilities for delivering to a budget on time.

Key accountabilities

On a day-to-day basis you will:

- Technical interface with project Suppliers, Contractors and Client
- Review designs of permanent and temporary works
- Produce Method Statements and Risk Assessments and undertake periodic reviews
- Produce Activity Control plans
- Ensure correct and timely implementation of supplier and contractor Inspection and Test Plans
- Identifies, raises, and actions non-conformance reports
- Collate weekly measure information and monitors wastage budget allowances
- Identifies and raises technical queries including proposed mitigations
