I have an opportunity for a Multi Skilled Operative to join a specialist service provider to the Railway Industry, providing a spectrum of services to clients such as Network Rail and regional Train Operating Companies.
I am looking for an mobile Multi-Skilled operatives to work on a mixture of reactive and project works across the Essex/London areas. Working in both operational railway properties and commercial customer offices across the London and Anglia region.
You will be working within an experience maintenance and project management team with a firm work stream.
This role is a predominately maintenance role, and you will be responsible for but not limited to:
- General finish and decorating, including plastering, filling and painting.
- Assessing roof faults, leaks and carrying out minor repairs.
- Replacing window frames, glass and sills.
- Replacing flooring including joists, boards and coverings.
- Construction of partition/stud walls.
Responsibilities continued:
- Respond promptly to all emergency situations and resolving them efficiently.
- Diagnose and rectify faults - first time fix.
- Support all trades to deliver a professional and safe maintenance and repairs service.
Experience required for this Multi Skilled Operative role:
- Must be competent in a construction skill (one or more minimum Level 2)
- Full driving licence (Cat B)
- Experience of diagnosing and rectifying faults within requests.
- Experience of Site supervision.
- PTS would be advantageous.
Package offered for this Multi Skilled Operative role:
- Salary £28,000 - £32,000
- 40 hours per week - 8 hour shifts
- Rostered Monday to Friday (Earlies, Lates and Potentially some nights)
- Weekend overtime by arrangement
- Enhancements - rostered on-call requirement (1 week in 3)
