This is a great opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Commissioning Manager to join a main contractor and work on an exciting critial project based on the outskirts of Reading. 

The company are market leaders in the MOD sector and your role as Mechanical Commissioning Manager will be to Lead, manage and witness the commissioning of critical equipment for the client.

Key responsibilities for this Mechanical Commissioning Manager role:

  • Lead, manage and witness the commissioning of critical equipment
  • Review and comment on Contractors test documentation
  • Work well as a team member to deliver the commissioning activities and the associated documentation
  • Advise contractors on the effective commissioning of process plant and equipment
  • Manage the delivery of contractor test documentation
  • Advise, check and comment on contractors proposed test documentation
  • Witness on-site and off-site testing for and on behalf of the Client
  • Report on commissioning progress

Experience required for this Mechanical Commissioning Manager role:

  • Experienced in the commissioning of highly regulated Safety Process Plant & Equipment
  • Knowledgeable in equipment testing regulations PUWER etc
  • Experienced at producing commissioning reports and test documentation
  • Good at creating a working team approach between the Client, Contractors and Client Maintenance Team
  • Familiar with good training practices
  • Good at delivering complex commissioning activities to programme

Package offered for this Mechanical Commissioning Manager role:

  • A salary of up to £70,000 Depending on experience 
  • A car allowance ranging from £5,000-6,000 depending on salary agreed 
  • 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays, your birthday and a day to move house 
  • A pension match contribution of up to 10%
