Senior Quantity Surveyor ready for the next step?
I’m currently working on an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor who is ready to progress into a Managing Quantity Surveyor position with a leading Tier 1 contractor.
This is a genuine step-up opportunity for someone who is ready to take on greater responsibility, lead and mentor a commercial team, and have more influence over the commercial performance of projects.
The Role
- Leading the commercial management of multiple projects
- Managing, mentoring and developing junior members of the commercial team
- Driving commercial strategy and project performance
- Managing CVRs, forecasting, cash flow and reporting
- Overseeing procurement, change control, valuations and final accounts
- Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities
- Working closely with operational teams to influence project outcomes
What I’m Looking For
- Strong Civils & Infrastructure experience
- A solid understanding of NEC contracts
- Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
- Experience supporting or mentoring junior QSs
- The ambition and capability to step into a wider leadership role
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
