£70,000 - £75,000 plus car allowance & competitive package
Company Information
One of the leading construction businesses in the UK specialising in Railway & Civil Engineering Infrastructure works is currently looking for an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor to manage a portfolio of works on a major joint venture on the prestigious HS2 project.
Initially managing a £25million package of civils works including bridges / structures, reinforced concrete culverts and groundworks and a portfolio of other works on the project as they arise.
To be suitable for the position you must have;
- 10-15 years commercial / quantity surveying experience on major civils infrastructure projects ie, Highways, Railway Civils Infrastructure / Structural Engineering.
- Strong experience and knowledge of NEC3 Contract Option C
- Minimum HNC in Quantity Surveying or relevant comparable experience.
Desirable
- Degree Qualified in Quantity Surveying or other relevant qualifications.
Responsibilities
- To manage and supervise the commercial function and employees within the Sector on all allocated contracts in order to ensure financial performance meets targets set out in the Business Plan, whilst maximising returns.
- To provide a functional responsibility and report to the Head of Commercial /
- Commercial Manager on commercial and contractual matters as well as providing the same to Customer Project Managers (CPM's) on all operational requirements to support the Project Manager.
