Managing Quantity Surveyor - Birmingham - Permanent - £75,000 plus exceptional Bonus and car allowance.

The Managing Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for initiating and leading tasks and processes, taking responsibility and being accountable, where relevant, for the work and roles of others whilst exercising broad autonomy and judgement within broad parameters in their area of responsibility

Working with the procurement team, the Managing Quantity Surveyor will also ensure that the tenders remain competitive and are fully equalised. Commercial advice and overseeing to less experienced team members from a non-commercial background will be required.

Managing Quantity Surveyor Requirements

  • Someone currently operating as a Managing Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor with circa 8+ years' experience
  • Strong trade contractor procurement experience and management of construction contracts
  • Managing and mentoring Surveyors
  • Good knowledge of commercial and financial management systems and controls
  • Strong personal organisational skills

Salary:£75,000 plus bonus, car allowance and further additional benefits to be discussed.

The ideal candidate will be located within a commutable distance of or within Birmingham.
