Job Summary

A leading player in the civil engineering and infrastructure sector, is looking for an experienced HSQE Manager to join their team who will be working on a brand new multi million pound railway depot upgrade project based in Milton Keynes

To be suitable for the HSQE Manager position you must have;

- Previous experience as a Health and Safety advisor working on a major infrastructure projects in the Rail Sector
- Experience working on Railway Depot or Station upgrades
- Ideally seeking a Chartered member of IOSH working towards.
- NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ Level 6 in Health & Safety
- Proven experience leading and managing a team
- Valid PTS

Desirable but not essential

- NEBOSH Construction Certificate
- Degree in Occupational Health & Safety
- Any other Qualifications in Health and Safety, Environmental or Quality

As HSQE Manager you will:

- Provide guidance, support, advice and governance to the Project HSES related subjects
- Communicate and engage with the project to implement the HSES strategy.
- Conduct site HSES audits, inspections, visits
- Ensure the business is compliant with all HSES Regulations
- Assist in the identification of site HSES training needs.
- Support and maintain a constant focus on the behavioural safety programme across the Project.
- Support the Project during near miss/incident/accident investigations.
- Promote HSES initiatives and innovations across their Project.

Salary: £60,000 - £72,000 per annum negotiable dependant on level plus
