Graduate Quantity surveyor
Location: Birmingham West Midlands
Engagement: Permanent (with day release considered or full time) university fees potentially paid for
Salary: Open to discussion however circa £25-28,000 plus package
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to kick start their working career as a graduate Quantity surveyor. The client is a subcontractor who has work secured for a 5-year period. They specialise in infrastructure works within a building environment
The successful candidate would be working alongside a Senior Quantity Surveyor who would support their development and skills.

Key responsibilities/ Duties of a Graduate Quantity surveyor role:
Supporting the Senior Quantity Surveyor
Management of subcontractors
Procuring materials
Skills/Experience required:
A degree in quantity surveying/ commercial management or equivalent or working towards
Excellent IT skills
Good knowledge of construction methods & materials
Excellent negotiating and communication skills.
Need to be highly motivated individual who can work on their own initiative and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
