Freelance Quantity Surveyor - Oxford

Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 12 Months 
Rate: £330 per day - Outside IR35 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Freelance Quantity Surveyor in Oxford

We are looking for a experienced quantity surveyor with a proven track record of delivering construction projects, managing costs, and supporting successful project delivery from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing project costs and budgets.

  • Preparing, reviewing, and negotiating subcontract packages.

  • Valuations, variations, and change management.

  • Producing cost reports and forecasts.

  • Managing subcontractor accounts and final accounts.

  • Supporting the project team with commercial and contractual advice.

  • Ensuring commercial objectives are achieved while maintaining strong client and subcontractor relationships.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction.

  • Strong knowledge of JCT contracts.

  • Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills.

  • Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline is preferred.

  • CSCS card (preferred).
