The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Estimator to join a successful regional building contractor based in the West Midlands. The business has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality construction projects across a range of sectors and is continuing to grow its workload. The successful Estimator, you will play a key role in preparing competitive and commercially viable tenders, working on projects ranging in value up to £50m.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Estimator, or an ambitious Assistant Estimator looking to take the next step in their career and gain greater responsibility within a growing contractor.
About You..
- Previous experience working as an Estimator within the building/construction sector.
- Experience pricing projects across a range of sectors.
- The ability to interpret drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- The ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines effectively.
- A proactive approach and the ambition to progress within a growing business.
