Freelance Environmental Advisor
Location: Norwich
Duration: 6 Months (Initial)
Pay: £350-£450 per day (PAYE)
We are seeking an experienced Freelance Environmental Advisor to provide expert environmental guidance and support across a range of projects. This role is ideal for a self-motivated environmental professional with strong technical knowledge and the ability to work independently while delivering practical, compliant, and sustainable solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Provide environmental advice and support to clients and project teams

Assist with environmental management plans, policies, and procedures.

Conduct environmental risk assessments and identify mitigation measures.

Support compliance with environmental legislation, permits, and regulatory requirements.

Prepare environmental reports, audits, and monitoring documentation.

Advise on sustainability initiatives, waste management, pollution prevention, and resource efficiency.

Undertake site inspections and environmental reviews where required.
Essential Requirements

Degree or equivalent qualification in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Sustainability, Ecology, or a related discipline.

Demonstrable experience in an environmental advisory, consultancy, or compliance role.

Strong knowledge of environmental legislation and regulatory frameworks.

Excellent report-writing and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.

Professional and client-focused approach.
