Title: Environmental Advisors - Civils & Infrastructure
Location: Midlands & North East
Pay Method - Inside IR35 (Paye)
Day Rate: £400 - £550 per day
We are seeking experienced Environmental Advisors to support the successful delivery of major civils and infrastructure projects. This role will play a key part in ensuring environmental obligations, ecological considerations, and regulatory requirements are effectively managed throughout all stages of project delivery.
Working closely with project teams, designers, consultants, and site management, the successful candidate will help identify environmental risks, coordinate compliance activities, and ensure appropriate mitigation measures and processes are implemented before and during construction works.
Key responsibilities will include:

Advising project and delivery teams on environmental legislation, planning conditions, and best practice

Liaising with environmental and ecological consultants to ensure requirements are fully understood and integrated into project plans

Supporting the development and implementation of environmental management processes and controls

Monitoring compliance with environmental standards, permits, and legal obligations across live works

Assisting with environmental assessments, site inspections, audits, and reporting
The ideal candidate will have previous experience within civils, infrastructure, utilities, rail, highways, or construction environments, alongside a strong understanding of environmental regulations and site-based delivery requirements.
