Freelance Drainage Engineer Required - Hampshire
We are seeking an experienced Freelance Drainage Engineer to support ongoing civil engineering and infrastructure projects across Hampshire.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in drainage and highway infrastructure works
- Valid Street Works (NRSWA) qualification.
- Competent in the planning, design, and management of Temporary Works.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and drainage layouts.
- Experience with highway drainage systems, culverts, attenuation tanks, and associated civil works.
- Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Full UK driving licence and ability to travel across Hampshire sites.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate drainage installation and maintenance works.
- Ensure compliance with Street Works regulations and permit requirements
- Prepare, review, and implement Temporary Works solutions where required.
- Liaise with site teams, contractors, local authorities, and project stakeholders.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure work is delivered to programme and quality standards.
- Provide technical support and problem-solving throughout project delivery.
Desirable
- Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) or Temporary Works Supervisor (TWS) certification
- CSCS card and relevant civil engineering qualifications.
