Electrical Duty Holder

Location: Essex


An opportunity to join a specialist rail industry service provider and be part of their newly formed M&E team.


As an electrical Duty Holder you will be responsible for ensuring the electrical testing and compliance of all electrical remedial/projects work in the Anglia region.

This will include making sure that clients' assets are installed and maintained to the highest standards, carry out maintenance, inspection, test, repair and minor works on the following:

- Fire alarm systems
- LV Electrical Distribution systems and equipment
- Lighting systems and equipment



Key Responsibilities for this Electrical Duty Holder role:


- Inspection and testing of commercial client installations
- Acting as QS when required
- Producing accurate NICEIC reports
- Supervising and managing staff and contractors.

Experience required for this Electrical Duty Holder role:


- Fully qualified electrician (recognised electrical apprenticeship)
- Specific experience of health and safety related standards and regulations ideally involving rail (off-track) experience.
- Ability to supervise and manage staff/contactors
- Demonstrable understanding of current health and safety legislation to electrical safety at work.
- Experience in delivering compliance in difficult environments.
- Ability to deal with maintenance/reactive requests efficiently and effectively.
