Electrical Construction Manager

Job Description

I am currently on the lookout for a Electrical Construction Manager for a role in Munich, Germany. I am acting on behalf of a well-established and respected business based out of Ireland who are operating heavily in Data Centre Industry.

This is an opportunity to join a company who has projects commencing throughout the globe with exponential growth in their Data Centre Division.

Key Responsibilities of this Electrical Construction Manager Role

  • Work closely with the project management & delivery team to ensure EHS, QAQC, Schedule & Commercial KPI’s are achieved.
  • Ensure supply chain partners are aware of & aligned with the project expectations.
  • Ensure work locations are prepared & works undertaken in line with RAMS & SPA’s.
  • Attendance & active participation in the daily whiteboard & DABS meetings, Weekly collaborative planning & last planner meetings, ensuring supply chain partners under your control are accurately reporting their activities.
  • Attend & participate in Collaborative Planning, Last Planner, DABS & daily Whiteboard meetings.
  • Attendance & active participation at the interactive QAQC TV reviews of the packages under your control ensuring the supply chain partners under your control are following the process.
  • Maintain awareness of the EHS, QAQC & Schedule reporting KPIs required to achieve project compliance.
  • Promote uploading of SOR’s with the site team to ensure site issues & achievements are recorded. 
  • Enforce company COHE procedures with supply chain partners.
  • Oversee construction power installation, maintenance & usage.
  • Monitor & report on supply chain partner resource levels & ensure shortfalls are actioned.
  • Provide input into development of baseline & target schedules & delivery storyboards.
  • Deliver accurate weekly progress updates & forecasts to the site planning team in line with project schedule KPI’s
  • Work closely with the Electrical Project Manager to ensure the ‘Bringing Quality 2 Life initiative’ is implemented successfully on site.     

Essential Criteria for this Electrical Construction Manager Role:  

  • 5+ years previous experience in supervisory works
  • Experience working with a Electrical/Mechanical contractor
  • Proven record of co-ordinating and managing projects
  • A trade qualification
  • Good Computer skills in word, excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Fluent English
  • EU Passport / work rights due to urgency of mobilisation
  • Previous Data Centre experience
  • Flexible to travel
