We are working with a well-established contractor looking to appoint a Design Manager or Senior Design Manager to join their growing team. There is flexibility around level, with a preference for Senior level candidates who can integrate quickly and add value to the team.
The role will involve working across a range of projects including schools, hospitals and MOD schemes. Education sector experience is essential, and candidates must be able to demonstrate a strong track record delivering within this space. Experience across other sectors is beneficial but not required.
Projects are typically located within 1 to 1 and a half hours of Birmingham, so a willingness to travel within this region is required.
Working pattern
Pre-construction phase: Split between office and home
On-site phase: 3 days on site, with the remaining 2 days split between office and home
