Data Centre - Quality Manager

Contract Type: 6–9 Month Contract
Location: Denmark
Engagement: Working with a General / Main Contractor
Rate: Day rates to be agreed at point of submission

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to support the delivery of large-scale data centre projects in Denmark. This role will focus on implementing and maintaining quality systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving quality performance across all phases of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, implement, and maintain ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System and ISO 14001 standards
  • Develop and maintain quality plans, manuals, documentation, and systems
  • Review project specifications to identify inspection and testing requirements and develop Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
  • Train all project personnel on the Contractor’s QA/QC plan
  • Liaise with the client to ensure quality standards and procedures are submitted, approved, and implemented within agreed timelines
  • Plan and complete internal and external audits
  • Advise project and senior management on QA/QC-related issues
  • Ensure all documentation and certification is complete and verified prior to final handover
  • Attend and coordinate weekly meetings with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Manage document control processes, ensuring alignment with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements
  • Standardise QA/QC procedures across projects and integrate them into the company QA/QC manual
  • Review and approve vendor and subcontractor documentation
  • Conduct off-site factory and prefabrication audits (source inspections) as required
  • Utilise systems such as SAP, Eida, Procore, and BIM 360 Field to manage quality processes
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on significant project issues and share findings with relevant stakeholders
  • Carry out all other duties associated with the role

Essential Criteria:

  • Relevant third-level degree or professional qualification
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent organisational and planning abilities
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment
  • Proactive, solution-focused approach to quality management
  • Ability to produce clear, high-quality written reports
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Previous experience in quality management on data centre projects is highly desirable

  • This is a contract position with a duration of 6–9 months
  • Competitive day rates will be agreed at the point of submission
  • Candidates should be available to work on-site in Denmark
  • Candidates must have an EU Passport or Right to work in Denmark
