Data & Fibre Cabling Engineer, Midlands

Job Description

Key responsibilities for this Data & Fibre Cabling Engineer role:
- Attend client sites to perform installation works and all associated activities as a lone worker or as part of an installation team in accordance with provided risk assessment / method statements.
- Ensure each project is successfully delivered within given timescales ensuring customer requirements are met and advising clients of Project Change Control where necessary
- Generate project documentation and undertake installation surveys as requested.
- Find and diagnose faults in structured cabling systems as required.

Experience required for this Data & Fibre Cabling Engineer role:
- Experienced in the installation and testing of data / copper / fibre cabling and associated installation of containment and pathways.
- Analytical skills with the ability to diagnose system faults / potential installation issues and offer solutions with the ability to complete applications
- Comfortable in a customer facing role, including being presentable & personable
- Strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to multi task.
- Desirable; CNET/CNCI/CSCS/ECS/IPAF/PASMA qualified, SC cleared, understanding/experience in JSP 604/480 regulations.
