Contracts Administrator

Job Description

Our client is a rapidly growing developer based our of Markham. They are looking for an experienced Contracts Administrator to join their team. This role will be based out of the office with occasional travel required.

Responsibilities:

-Conduct field review and contract administrative duties such as shop drawing review to ensure adherence to the contract documents
-Review of contractor quotes for change orders
-Respond to RFIs from the contractor to provide clarity and direction.
-Review progress billings and issue Site Instructions.
-Attend regular site meetings with contractors, other consultants, and clients.
-Manage contract administration duties for multiple projects in parallel.
-Assist in budgeting, coordinating, and monitoring Contract Administration hours.
-Develop and maintain a strong relationships with contractors and clients
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

-Minimum of 3 years' experience in Construction or related industry
-Strong awareness of construction, contract law and quantity surveying
-Strong business acumen
-Effective communication and negotiation skills
-Excellent oral and written skills are essential
-Dynamic highly motivated individual able to interact with construction teams
-Proficient in the English language (Written, reading and speaking)
