Job Title: Construction Manager
Location: Hatfield ideal for people located around Watford & Barnet.
Salary / Benefits: £65,000- £75,000 Depending on experience + car allowance and excellent company benefits
Start Date: ASAP
Company Information: My client is a main contractor who have won many awards and worked on some very high profile projects and are currently working on major highways framework in the South East.
To be suitable for the position you must have;
- Experience as a Site agent.
- Experience working on Civil engineering projects.
- Experience of Highways, Roads, motorways, ground works or general civils.
Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you have;
- Degree / HND /HNC in Civil Engineering.
- Experience in a similar position with a medium size to major size civil engineering main contractor.
- Strong main contractor knowledge.
Role Information;
- Great opportunity to join a main contractor who are working on a major highway's framework in the south east.
- You will be site based.
- This role will be based near Hatfield.
- You should have ideally have experience of and a track record of site delivery of civils packages such as highways, roads, motorways, groundworks & general civil engineering.

-You will: Lead the project team and manage the supply chain to deliver projects to time, cost and quality targets and standards; Ensure safety targets and standards are maintained by; Knowing what safety excellence looks like and communicate safety with passion and credibility in order to inspire, motivate and lead the project team to achieve the vision. Manage Sub Contractors, including monitoring of contractor attendance and progress; providing direct instruction and support as necessary such that contractual arrangements are achieved; Participate with the management of internal/external design team/consultants to meet project deadlines under supervision from a Contract or Project Manager if required.
