We are working with a Sub-Contractor who are seeking a Commercial assistant/Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work projects across the Birmingham area.
Working with a Sub-Contractor within the Highways sector you will be responsible for working with Senior Commercial staff to assist with the following:
- Pricing works using schedule of rates
- General administration across the office (commercial)
- Monitoring costs and monthly reports
- Dealing with SubContractors (with assistance)
- Assisting with forecasting
- Working closely with site teams and commercial staff
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the construction or Civil Engineering industry
- IT literate and able to proficiently use Excel and MS office programs
- Some Document Control experience
- Worked within a Commercial team previously
- Willingness to learn and ability to multitask
Location: Birmingham
Salary: Dependant on experience - up to £25,000 per annum
