Location: Ashby-de-la-Zouch, LE65
Salary: £50,000 (negotiable depending on experience)

About the Role

We are supporting a leading residential housebuilder in the appointment of an experienced Buyer to join their Commercial team.

This is a key procurement role within a busy residential development environment, responsible for supporting the sourcing and supply of materials across multiple live sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Procure materials and related items for residential developments

• Source and evaluate competitive supplier quotations

• Support negotiation of pricing and supply agreements

• Raise and manage purchase orders

• Support timely delivery of materials to site

• Work closely with internal commercial and site teams

• Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues where required

• Support cost control and value for money objectives

Experience Required

• Experience as a Buyer within housebuilding or residential construction

• Strong understanding of construction materials and supply chains

• Good commercial awareness and negotiation skills

• Ability to manage multiple live projects and deadlines

• Strong communication and organisational skills

Desirable

• Experience working across both private and affordable housing schemes
