Assistant/Junior Project Manager 

This is a great opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager to join a well-established consultancy, who specialise in assest management and construction within the Rail Industry, providing cost-effective operation and maintenance of ageing infrastructure, and maximising transport capacity.

 

As an Assisant Project Manager, you will become an integral part on the business to help the Asset Protection and Optimisation teams (ASPRO). 

Key responsibilities for this role -

  • Contacting outside parties to ensure that their scheme is in contract/the correct PLI is in place.
  • Updating our online database system.
  • Developing estimates for the services which we offer.
  • Setting up meetings with multiple stakeholders.
  • Writing minutes for meetings and keep trackers updated.
  • Project managing smaller schemes under the supervision of Asset Protection Scheme Interface Manager or Construction Manager.
  • Attending safety hours and updating safety packs.


Experience required for this role:

  • Project Managerment experience delivering schemes.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines in a busy and demanding environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential with the ability to write clear and precise reports and be able to relay complex information
  • Rail experince needed, ideally a background working with Network Rail. 


£200-260 a day, outside scope of IR35.
