The Assistant / Graduate Engineer Role:
A growing housebuilder is looking to appoint an Assistant or Graduate Engineer to join their technical team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career to gain hands-on experience within a fast-paced construction environment, supporting the delivery of residential developments.
Working closely with senior engineers and the wider technical team, you will assist in the coordination and delivery of civil engineering design information from pre-construction through to site completion. The role will involve a mix of office-based design support and site involvement, helping to resolve technical issues and ensure projects run smoothly.
This position would suit someone with a strong interest in civil engineering and construction who is keen to develop their technical knowledge and progress within the housebuilding sector.
To be considered for the Assistant / Graduate Engineer position:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, or currently working towards one
- Strong interest in civil engineering design and residential construction
- Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD or Civil 3D is advantageous
- Understanding of 3D modelling and GPS machine control systems
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to learning
- Ability to manage workload and meet project deadlines
