Senior Health & Safety Advisor
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join a main contractor and work on an exciting high value infrastructure project based near to St Neots.
The company are market leaders in infrastructure and your role as H&S Advisor will be responsible for safety and wellbeing of all staff on site.

Key responsibilities for this role:
- Assist the Project Manager or Project Safety Manager in preparing and developing the Project Construction Phase Health & Safety Plan & coordinate reviews as required.
- Undertake site H&S inspections as required. Participate as requested in company H&S audits and inspections.
- Advise, guide and coach all personnel on the project with the implementation of the Health & Safety Management System.
- Provide operational and functional management with advice on the prevention of accidents, ill health, and the practical implementation of the company’s H&S policies.
- Assist in the investigation of accidents, incidents, dangerous occurrences, near misses and other incidents where appropriate. Monitor and coordinate the close out of the above.
Experience required for this role:
- Minimum 5 Years H&S Experience
- NEBOSH diploma or NVQ level 5 or above in Occupational Health & Safety if not obtained working towards
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate or NEBOSH General certificate or equivalent NVQ
- Relevant H&S experience within construction / civil engineering
- Tech IOSH or AIEMA or equivalent and working towards Chartered membership
Package offered for this Site Manager role:
- Salary Negotiable circa £45,000 to £50,000
- Car or £4750 Car Allowance
