Senior Commercial Manager
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Commercial Manager
to join a Market Leading Contractor.
The company is a well know main contractor who operate nationwide. Your role as Senior Commercial Manager you will be covering the Midlands region. You will be responsible for working on a major construction project in the Midlands area. Working with the build Commercial Director to form an effective team for managing the delivery of a major project. Leading the MEP commercial team in maximising the commercial performance of the MEP stream through implementation Projects include MEP and Construction therefore candidate with this experience would be a huge advantage.

Key responsibilities for this Senior Commercial Manager
role:
- Leading the MEP Commercial team.
- Maximising the MEP stream through implementation of the commercial strategy and targets.
- Ensure the strategy, policy, culture and standards established by the business unit leadership team are effectively deployed within the commercial team.
- Control costs and effectively manage budgets.
- Ensure the team complies with all regulations and company policies & processes.
- Manage and support projects on commercial and supplier contracting aspects projects across the business stream.
- Assess and report on commercial aspects of project performance, and escalate as appropriate
- Understand the requirements of the customers to ensure that the project is managed commercially to satisfy those requirements and in keeping with Customer Focus Strategy.
- Effectively manage change and operational efficiency, continuously identify areas for business improvement.
- Manage relationships with key external and internal stakeholders
- Ensuring Monthly Commercial Reports are completed accurately and timeously.
Experience required for this Senior Commercial Manager role:
- Experience in a similar role
- Ideally MEP/M&E background
- Ideally Construction experience with MEP/M&E package delivery
- Appropriate qualifications and professional membership of the RICS, CIOB or ICE
- CSCS Card
- Exceptional negotiation, leadership and communication skills along with the ability to influence others
- Work to dates and programmes
Package offered for this Senior Commercial Manager role:
- £80,000-£95,000 GBP plus car/car allowance along with other benefits
