My client in the Woodstock area is seeking a Construction Project Manager to provide overall administrative direction and oversee multiple construction projects. The Project Manager reports to the executive team. The Project Manager will be responsible for overall project performance, including costs, scheduling, quality control and project status. Qualifications
- Must have ICI construction project management experience
- Ability to manage project budgets and schedule projects
- Good communication skills
- Familiarity with specific construction project management software
- 5 to 10 years experience working as an ICI Project Manager.
- Post-secondary education in a construction related program.
- Gold Seal Certification an asset.
- Experience with the IHSA COR certification program.
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a self-directed manner.


Basic Functions of the Project Manager

- Effectively develop projects from point of sale to start of construction.
- Work to support the estimating department and project manager to move projects forward through pre-construction.
- Ensure client satisfaction and maximize profitability in all activities.

Project Manager Duties & Responsibilities

- Attention to detail and accuracy, planning and organization, strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The Project Manager must work to maximize profitability in projects.
- The Project Manager must provide feedback regarding planning, scheduling, and profitability.
- Closes the sale by utilizing proper proposals and contracts that will be used when it is turned into a project.
- Coordinate preconstruction process for each project including city planning, zoning, Site Plan Approvals and permits.
- Develop construction and labour schedules.
- The Project Manager must build and maintain relationships with the trades
- The project manager will work closely in teams with other members from branch, other PM's in branch or other PM's or superintendents within the Company.
