Project Coordinator

Job Description

Our client is a general contractor located in Vaughan looking to identify an experienced Project Coordinator who specializes in residential renovation. -Assist in planning and preparing construction schedules and milestones, and monitor progress against established timelines.
-Assists the project manager and superintendent with overall project performance including cost, schedule, safety and quality.
-Prepare documentation of Project Management activities.
-Build and maintain customer and supplier/vendor relationship.
-Purchase supplies and materials as required to complete project.
-Establish lines of communication with all subcontractors and consultants, including coordination of required meetings.
-Coordinate trade bidding process by preparing and distributing tender documents, scope of work, drawings and layouts.
-Contribute to a positive working relationship with all stakeholders
-Perform additional work and responsibilities as assumed or requested by the Project Management Team.

Project Coordinator Qualifications:

-Minimum 1-3 years of experience in residential developments
-Post secondary diploma or degree relating to construction/accounting
-Skilled in Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Project
-Excellent organizational and time management skills
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
