We have a current opportunity for a Managing Quantity Surveyor on a permanent basis. The position will be based in Northampton - the client is also interested in hearing from Senior level Quantity Surveyors
The client
The client is a multi sector company but this role will be working within their social housing and regeneration division.
The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
- Taking overall responsibility and accountability for the commercial elements on a number of contracts
- Oversee and manage the commercial teams and where applicable operation staff as the Senior member of staff on a designated project i.e. refurb, New Build, EPB etc
- You will be responsible for the commercial / financial and contractual elements of designated projects within the Division
- Ensuring subcontractor requests for payment are appropriately processed in a timely and contractual manner
- Completing a monthly cost / valuation report and cash flow for the designation projects
- Liaise with the Management teams over contractual issues and take action as required
Requirements:
- 3 year + experience within a Senior surveying position
- Previous Managing experience
- Strong NEC contract experience
- Social housing experience
- NATFED experience
