ISP Systems Engineer - South of England
This is a great opportunity for an experienced ISP Systems Engineer to join a full fibre broadband provider bringing exceptional connectivity services to homes and businesses in the South of England.
In your role as ISP Systems Engineer you will be responsible for providing ISP systems infrastructure design development and support.

Key responsibilities for this ISP Systems Engineer role:
- Running of software and Linux based systems and integrating with other systems (BSS/OSS)
- Responsible for the stability, availability, reliability and quality of the Linux based infrastructure
- Work closely with other members of the ISP and DC team to ensure continuity of service and initiate cross skilling
- Focus on incident management lifecycle, risk management, troubleshooting, change and configuration and management/execution
- Enforce best practices in all implementations
Experience required for this ISP Systems Engineer role:
- Strong Linux skills (CentOS/Debian/Ubuntu)
- Experience of Perl/Python or other scripting languages
- Broad knowledge base of the functioning of computer / telecom operations / BSS|OSS systems
- Hands on systems experience with infrastructure design and operations
- Database technologies (SQL) and DNS system deployment and management (BIND/unbound/knot)
- Experience of integrating disparate systems using REST API's, NETCONF and YANG data models
