HSEQ Lead - Infrastructure

Location: Coventry / Hybrid Working

Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 plus car allowance and package

Working for the UK's leader in geotechnical solutions for the Rail, Road, Power, and other infrastructure sectors.

Purpose of the Role

To lead the Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) support function ensuring compliance with the business, division and local statutory HSEQ requirements. The role shall facilitate the improved performance of both the operational (line) and supporting functions through direct support, collaboration, and encouragement.

Experience/Skills/Qualifications/Personal Attributes

- Chartered Member of IOSH, or similar accreditation.
- Practitioner Member of Chartered Quality Institute.
- Practitioner Member of Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment.
- NVQ Level 5/NEBOSH Diploma/Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent.
- IEMA Accredited Certificate in Environmental Management.
- Lead Auditor Qualification in ISO45001.
- ISO9001 Internal Auditor Certification.
- ISO14001 Internal Auditor Certification.
- Minimum ten (10) years' experience gained through increasingly responsible management positions within Health, Safety, Environment and Quality.
- Related post-secondary education (i.e. degree, diploma, or certificate) or equivalent combination of education and experience related to Health, Safety & Environment.
- CSCS Card Holder.
- A strong desire to develop a knowledge of a range of geotechnical products and solutions.
- A track record of quality implementation, through a TQM, TPM, LEAN or Six
- Sigma type programme.
- A working knowledge of business processes and an ability to identify areas of improvement.
- Knowledge of quality control techniques/systems.
- IT literate, Office 365 including Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint.
- Full driving licence.

Desirable

- Chartered Member of Chartered Quality Institute.
- Chartered Member of Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment.
- Lead Auditor Qualification in ISO14001.
- Lead Auditor Qualification in ISO9001.
- Experience within joint ventures and major infrastructure projects.
