Our client is a building consulting firm located in the North York and they are looking for a skilled Electrical Design EIT to join their team. The Electrical Design EIT must have previous building consulting experience and a strong understanding of REVIT software. Responsibilities for the Electrical Design EIT:
- Assist with the preparation of drawings and schematics
- Coordinate with other consulting disciplines to ensure drawing integrity and completeness, including Mechanical, Architectural and Structural disciplines
- Work with project team and Project Manager to ensure on-time project completion
- Escalate resource issues to the appropriate Project Manager
- Review architectural and structural drawings
- Work with contractors and respond to technical inquiries
Qualifications, Experience and Education for the Electrical Design EIT:
- Completion of a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Registered EIT with the PEO
- Working towards obtaining Professional Engineer Designation in Ontario
- Engineer in training with 1-2 of relevant work experience
- Background developing construction documents using AutoCAD and/or Revit
