Our client, a prominent developer with projects all over Ireland, is currently seeking a Commercial Manager to take ownership over the preparation of proposals/bids, contract negotiation commercial risk assessments to guide projects to a successful commercial outcome.
As Commercial Manager, you will play a key role in the development of collaborative stakeholder relationships in support of successful account delivery, aiding change and conflict management to ensure operational demands of the projects are delivered.
Responsibilities
Lead all proposal activities, including the coordination of cross-functional inputs to receive, evaluate, plan, and execute proposals, ensuring compliance with guiding policies
Experience supporting complex customer negotiations
Prepare and issue of tenders in line with the tender documentations provided, reviewing and completing the tender forms and ensure they are within the given specifications
Understand and scrutinise the project specifications and design drawings
Obtaining estimates and prices from sub-contractors and suppliers
Requirements
Quantity Surveying degree with a minimum of 10 years’ experience of full oversight over commercial elements and quantity surveyors on site
Minimum 6 years of experience in a residential environment
Ability to demonstrate building strong working relationships & stakeholder management
Good Level of legal awareness and competence in assessing Contract Documents and contract requirements
Excellent negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability and proven experience managing teams of highly motivated surveyors.
