Our client is a well known GC that specializes in High Rise Residential and Commercial projects. They are looking to add an experienced High Rise Site Superintendent to their growing team. This role will be based on site in Hamilton.
Site Superintendent Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing all day to day operations on site
- Maintaining health and safety practices
- Demonstrate safety leadership by establishing and maintaining a safe working environment and diligent safety culture on site.
- Direct and supervise labor staff on site ; Direct deliveries on site and ensure storage areas are kept organized in limited space; Direct and supervise subcontractors, consultants, and vendors on site.
- Effectively managing job site workforce, equipment, materials and trade contractors to attain targeted profit margin while ensuring adherence to specifications and plans.
- Working closely with Project Manager, Trade Contractors Consultants, Inspectors, and Regulatory Agencies to prepare and execute project plans and specifications and ensure the quality of work.
- Maintain a culture of safe site practices
- Review contracts and different subcontractors
- Ensure project requirements are met
- Reporting updates to stakeholders
- All other duties as required
Site Superintendent Required Experience:
- Experience in the full build cycle
- 5+ years of relevant high rise experience
- Strong leadership skills with a knowledge of technical software
- Willingness to learn and grow with the organization
- Have all necessary certifications like Working at Heights, WHIMIS, First Aid and Basics of Supervision
The successful Site Superintendent will receive:
- $120,000 to $150,000 Annual Salary depending on experience
